Who supplies your meat and poultry?

All the Chicken, Lamb and Beef used in our products is sourced from a HMC CERTIFIED butcher.

Why do you not have your own HMC certificate?

Our Butcher AL-HAMRA HALAL are fully HMC certified, and have their own HMC certificate, so we didn’t see the need to ppurchase one separately.

 

Why is your nationwide Delivery charge high?

The delivery charge is worked out according to what the courier charges are, aswell as the material cost of gel ice sheets and thermal packaging to keep the products at a suitable temperature. 
We always offer collection aswell from our base in Leicester, so if it works out cost-effective give for you to collect and save on delivery charges, we can accommodate you. 

 

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If you are ordering for a delivery in Leicester, a delivery slot will be pre-arranged with you.

 If you have ordered for delivery nationwide, We use a courier service for our deliveries.

Once you have received an email informing you that your order has been dispatched, you will have an option of contacting the courier company to leave the delivery in a safe place incase you will not be home to receive the delivery.

If you do not do this, the courier company will take the delivery back and reattempt another delivery at a later time/day.  Please note, the longer the delivery takes to be received and put away in the freezer, the more chance there is for the goods to be damaged.

However we do not take liability on rescheduled deliveries after the first delivery attempt. (Please refer to Terms & Conditions for more info)

There are no refunds or exchanges on missed deliveries

 

 

I’ve ordered Chilled and/or frozen goods for nationwide delivery, How will they be delivered?

Chilled and Frozen products are delivered in insulated packaging (gel ice sheets) suitable for up to 48 hours. 
It is important that all frozen products should be frozen as soon as you open your package.
Please note, there is a no refunds policy on perishable goods.

 

 

What are perishable goods?

Perishable foods are those likely to spoil, decay or become unsafe to consume if not kept at the correct temperature. Examples of perishable goods include fresh meat, poultry, fish and dairy products.

 

What is your refund policy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase Savouries by Sara is happy to refund products returned within 7 days of delivery which are unopened and undamaged.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund on damaged, opened and perishable goods.
No liability or claim can be made against ‘Savouries By Sara’ in the event of an attempt to deliver fails due to nobody being present to take the parcel. The responsibility and liability for the loss of goods lies with the customer.
