Delivery Information Nationwide

Once you have received your dispatch confirmation email, you will have the option to contact the courier company to arrange for your parcel to be left in a safe place if you will not be available to receive the delivery.

If no safe place or alternative arrangement is provided, the courier may return the parcel and attempt delivery at a later time or date. Please note that DPD do not always guarantee a second delivery attempt on the same day.

As our products are perishable, if a parcel is returned to the depot there is a possibility it may be disposed of by the courier. If a second delivery attempt is made on a later day, your order may have softened during transit. While the products in most cases should still remain chilled and safe to consume, the shape and appearance of the savouries may be affected. They may become squashed, stuck together or even break.  In such circumstances, neither Savouries By Sara nor DPD can accept liability for any changes to the appearance or quality of the products caused by delayed receipt of the delivery. If the products have gone off due to the delay in the delivery, neither DPD nor Savouries by Sara can accept liability. 

Please note that the longer a parcel remains undelivered and not placed into a freezer, the higher the risk of the products becoming damaged.

Savouries By Sara cannot accept liability for:

• Unsuccessful delivery attempts
• Deliveries rescheduled by the customer
• Parcels not redelivered by the courier on the same day following a customer-requested reschedule
• Perishable goods that have spoiled or become damaged due to unsuccessful delivery attempts or delayed receipt of the parcel

However, if DPD themselves reschedule your delivery and fail to deliver on the original paid delivery date, liability will rest with DPD. In these circumstances, Savouries By Sara will issue the appropriate refund and recover the claim directly from DPD.
